Finally, as Mister Mix mentioned, there’s Samuel Alito and the “conservatives” in SCOTUS basically ruling that if you’re a person of color, you can’t apply for asylum in this country. Somehow, they tried to say that ending TPS status for Haitians and Somalis wasn’t about race. But Justice Kagan had the goods:

Pretty much every ethnic/national/religious group has assimilated after immigrating to the U.S., although sometimes it takes a couple of generations. Adn pretty much every group was deemed un-assimilatable (is this a word?!) when they first arrived. Seems to me that white nationalists are actually de-assimilating from what historically was deemed the meeting pot of the world (and the source of much of our economic and cultural success).

Hillary’s use of “deplorable” wasn’t strong enough…
