Trump posted something like 150 times on Truth Social yesterday, most of it was totally unhinged. Then he bombed Nigeria, to protect Christians.

These are all bad things, and I don’t want to detract from that, but here’s my question on this lovely Wren Day: where are the Democrats?

I’m not saying that all of the Democrats need to be yelling about this all of the time, but can we have at least one who takes anti-Trump duty every day? It could be a rotating assignment. As Joe posted the other day, we need to be running to daylight or whatever sports metaphor you want to use.

I thought this was a good observation by someone on BlueSky:

Not to pick on Kimmel, who’s had a tough year, but this isn’t a “bit of a wobble” — the US elected Trump a second time after seeing what he’s like. It’s a big deal, an existential threat to this country’s reputation around the world, and to our people at home. If you’re an opposition party facing an existential threat, you just can’t take days off, the way the Democrats are doing.
