Now, to his partial credit, Kaine did go on to list some possible actions Congress could take to put pressure on the Trum p Admin.
But the bottom line is: the base is unhappy, the country is unhappy, and the Trumplicans are wreaking havoc (I’ll write why this is happening this tomorrow). In football parlance (nod to Kay who doesn’t follow sports but understands that most of America does 😇), there is a hole in the line big enough to drive a truck through (for those who are sports-challenged, this means the offensive line has blocked very well and the running back with the ball has a big space to make a good run).
All we need to do now is seize the day. IMHO, wishy-washy words of tepid accountability, hope and conciliation ain’t going to get it done. Now is the time for courage, strength and driving a truck through the hole.
