I'm writing this on my phone after seeing that we just invaded another country and kidnapped their president for no real reason and without congressional authorization. Quick thoughts:

• If this isn't a “get in and get out” military operation, expect a bogged down, terrible occupation.

• Canada, Mexico, Denmark (Greenland) and others have to be re-evaluating their relationship with the US yet again.

• I'm thinking the EU better plan on giving more money and arms to Ukraine since it's clear the US thinks acting like Russia is a good thing.

• Rubio's 99-0 confirmation vote is a blot on Democrats. I have zero confidence in Dem leadership’s ability to meet this moment with the outrage and pushback it deserves. I hope I'm wrong about that.
