That really is a lame list, and pulling the invite to Canada is weak.
Let’s just review the bidding:
Trump had a “victory” in Venezuela - at least a military victory
He and his crew got all pumped up and shit talked about invading a list of countries, including Greenland
Europe and Canada fought back and Trump backed off the Greenland threat in Davos after giving an embarrassing speech where he confused Iceland and Greenland
Carney made a speech that disrespected Trump, and Claudia Sheinbaum said she agreed with it, and Trump’s big comeback is to rescind an invitation that nobody wants.
That looks like failure to me. I realize his goons are still wilding in the streets, but it’s still smart to take a clear-eyed look at the last few days of Trump’s presidency, and they aren’t good.
