The Board of Peace Flop

That really is a lame list, and pulling the invite to Canada is weak.

Let’s just review the bidding:

• Trump had a “victory” in Venezuela - at least a military victory

• He and his crew got all pumped up and shit talked about invading a list of countries, including Greenland

• Europe and Canada fought back and Trump backed off the Greenland threat in Davos after giving an embarrassing speech where he confused Iceland and Greenland

• Carney made a speech that disrespected Trump, and Claudia Sheinbaum said she agreed with it, and Trump’s big comeback is to rescind an invitation that nobody wants.

That looks like failure to me. I realize his goons are still wilding in the streets, but it’s still smart to take a clear-eyed look at the last few days of Trump’s presidency, and they aren’t good.
