I’m off this morning to my part-time gig reffing boys High School Lacrosse. Event high parents/coaches can be a pain in the ass (every parent seems to think THEIR boy will end up getting a Division 1 scholarship offer and maybe even go pro when the percentages are somewhere south of 1-2%), there is something about team sports that is just… good. In a wolrd where we are slowing being grinded down by depressing events, running on the field with a bunch of teenagers playing a sport they love bring me joy.
In another example of togetherness, the Artemis II crew splashed down in the Pacific Ocean in typical NASA style yesterday evening. This is what teamwork and togetherness looks like:
This is also what good government can accomplish without the profit motive. It also brings our country - even temporarily - pride and togetherness. Somewhere, Elon Musk is shedding a tear or two watching a government program - NASA - do it perfectly.

In a recent meeting, the president said he would pardon those within 200 feet of the Oval Office, say people familiar with the remarks
This is “teamwork” of another ilk completely. Simply put, this isn’t the kind of thing one says/does when one thinks they have obeyed the law and acted legally. To the best of my knowledge, Trump is also the only President who has ever even considered saying/doing something like this - especially with nearly 3 more years to go.
Sleazebags, grifters and, yes, lawbreakers all the way around.
