Quick Hit #1. Saw this on Bluesky from the Right Reverend Senator Warnock from Georgia (@warnock.senate.gov):

Quick Hit #2. We need to constantly and consistently point out to voters and non-political types that Trump doesn’t give a flying f^*k about them, their family, friends and neighbors.

So, with an ongoing government shutdown with, in theory, only “essential services”, these three things are happening:

• Trump is bailing out Argentina with $20 billion in financial aid to prop up their failing leader (Essential? Really?)

• Trump said that construction will continue on the new $200 million+ ballroom at the Whie House (Essential? Really?)

• Approximately 1.45 million federal employees who do real work and support families will not be paid during the shutdown (Essential? You Bet!)

Quick Hit #3. On a lighter note, yesterday we had wood delivered to our house, blocking our driveway. In 1 ½ hours, me and our oldest son managed to do serious damage to the pile - moving and stacking. Man, I’m sore today…
