Something's happening

So as I mentioned yesterday, I’m on a county Democratic committee so went to our regular monthly meeting last night.

We had four times our usual attendance. I have not worked on D politics with any of these people at any time in the last 25 years. They’re meeting OUTSIDE our (official) meeting at two separate locations, at a library and a meeting room at a firehouse. They didn’t know what to do or who to contact so they just started up two new groups to talk about, well, you know…the horrors that are occurring.

I’ll attend their two new meetings - both on Thursday, one morning, one evening and let you know what I hear, but it’s exciting and really hopeful to see this much activity in a 75% Trump county in rural Ohio. I don’t know if they’re Democrats but they’re definitely anti Trump and anti GOP Congress.

I haven’t felt this hopeful in months - we may get our mass pro democracy movement after all.
