Let’s start with this fucking guy:

I’m sure Ashley Moody, like every other Republican, would crush the Teamsters in an instant if she could. Since that’s not possible, they’ll just continue the Republican policies of chip, chip, chipping away at union rights until there’s nothing left. Sean O’Brien is a fool who doesn’t understand this, and someday the Teamsters will get rid of him and elect a decent leader.

And, I’m sorry but I need to write a little more about this fucking psycho:

I can’t find the whole interview on YouTube, but the clips from Aaron Rupar are brutal. When you don’t believe anything other than “Haley Stevens should be a Senator”, then this is what happens. Apparently she told Rep Debbie Dingell that she wasn’t going to endorse Rogers the night before she did.

She’s clearly enjoying the hell out of the attention she’s getting. And, now that she’s decompensated, people who served with her are coming out of the woodwork saying that this is how she has always operated. Either Schumer knew this and didn’t care because she was on the same side as him on the most important issue facing the Democrats (in his opinion) — Israel — or he didn’t know this and is therefore even more incompetent that he seems.

El-Sayed handled this really well, and you know damn well that Jim Clyburn feels burned by Stevens, as he stands there next to AES in what should have been a unity rally and a GOTV rally, but instead devolved into more Stevens-related nonsense.

The MI pol who comes out of this looking great is Elissa Slotkin. She participated in none of the down-low sandbagging bullshit, was a true professional and is a completely trustworthy straight shooter. I ended up proud I fundraised for HER Senate race.

Like I said on the last thread: regardless of what Schumer/Jeffries knew all along, it's really telling that all those Democrats supposedly losing their mind always follow the exact same path. You will never wake up to a headline like "Democratic Senator Denounces Party And Becomes Anarcho-Syndicalist Independent," or "Democratic Senator Leaves To Form Pro-Choice Pro-Gun Idiosyncratic Third Party," or even "Democratic Senator Is Sick Of This Bullshit, Resigns To Go On Road Trip With Grandchildren." Stevens, Fetterman, Sinema, Cuomo, the pattern is always the same: Democrat (centrist Democrat mind you) denounces party in terms straight out of Fox News and starts singing Republicans' praises.

And it's equally telling that despite how well-worn the trail is at this point, the Schumer/Jeffries crowd continues to insist on blaming "the left" for everything, while treating the centrist and Republican-curious ones with kid gloves and free ice cream.

53/42 in the last NYT poll! They’ve felt good for weeks in the Abdul camp but they’re determined to bust ass right until the end and run up the score. They’ve endured months and months of the most racist, bigoted campaign anyone here has ever seen (which continued unabated after the primary) and they want a big win. They’ve earned it. I don’t know how minority candidates do it. I would lose my temper, and Abdul came close, but he’s very disciplined and kept his mouth shut about the down-low campaign they were running to destroy him. I’m pleased about Troy Jackson and Amy Acton polling too. It’s so difficult to surmount a poor or tough childhood in this country. The truth is almost no one does. But those two did.

The Teamsters have long been filled with racist dirtbags who generally voted for Republicans. In 2024 O'Brien didn't endorse anyone for President and according to reports at the time more than 60% of the rank and file supported Trump. Make of that what you will. That doesn't excuse O'Brien but it is unsurprising that he would vote for Moody.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Stevens for uniting Democrats. McMorrow's husband had a social media post out describing the crazy shit she was doing behind the scene. Fortunately, by midnight tomorrow she will be cast on to the dustbin of history as another footnote in this election cycle.

You notice who wasn’t on the list of Dems pushing Stevens. Obama. I think he had her number the minute she had the goddamned nerve to pretend he endorsed her. Endorsements are like a currency. You don’t steal one, especially the endorsement of the only AA President in the most black city in the country. That was the moment the Democratic Party leadership should have had serious misgivings about this persons character.

I wish we could get Nixon. She’s a breath of fresh air and I don’t want to give up on FL. Demographically it should be a purple state. We’re doing something wrong there.

I like Angie Nixon quite a bit. Thanks for this post. Have lost track of her primary opponent Vindeman. I guess I need to hit the Google and find out whether he has does anything to help her/campaign for her. Or is he playing the role of Jasmine Crockett in Florida. (Yes, I'm still pissed with Crockett and won't be changing that feeling anytime in the near future.)

Judge me for my early AM cable listening. My cable news habits are the least of my vices. Tuned in to Joe Scarborough on MSNOW an hr ago. Joe S was brutal re Stevens. Was an interesting segment. He served w/Rogers years ago & back then considered him a friend. Sounds like they were on the Intel Committee together. Certainly didn't have a kind word for him or Stevens this AM. It is kinda endearing when Mika gets all offended when Joe says, "bullshit." Clearly, they are in love.

Brutal NY Times polls out for the Repugs. Let's hope they are right.

Coyotes woke me up 3 hrs ago. Nothing like the screams of bunnies being ripped apart. My JoJo las Orejas is not amused. And, yes, I still love my bunny killing "Song Dogs." They get a bum rap. (Suggested reading: Coyote America)

I linked to this w/ a little synopsis deep in the comments somewhere on BJ when I was bored yesterday & bouncing back & forth there & here. Now I can't find my synopsis about the dinner the former Dem gov had w/ this nutcase & her controlling fiancé Sat nite. Anyway, here's the piece. It's worth the read. https://pro.stateaffairs.com/mi/elections/stevens-revokes-elsayed-endorsement.
