REVERSE MIGRATION

As the tryptophan hangover fades and our brief respite from, well, everything recedes in the rear-view mirror, I guess there’s nothing else to do except get back at it.

Today’s lesson is about blatant white nationalist racism.

Let’s consider this in conjunction with a post today from Trump on TS (I refuse to go on thast site or directly link to his insane ramblings) where he writes, “The official United State Foreign Population stands at 53 million people (Census), most of which are on welfare, from failed nations, or from prisons, mental institutions, gangs, and drug cartels.” In the same post, he writes, “Only REVERSE MIGRATION can fully cure this situation.” (emphasis mine)

So many questions? Does this mean that we can kick out the white South African mafia starting with Elon Musk, Peter Thiel and David Sacks? How about the Irish and Italians who came here after “failed states” forced them out of their home countries? Are we really going to kick out 53 million people and what will that do to our economy? Do former “Iron Curtain” countries like Slovenia count as previously failed states (sorry, Melania)? What about those pesky South Asian folks Trump wants to bring in on H1B Visas because he doesn’t think there are enough qualified people in the U.S. to do high tech work? And should we reinstitute concentration camps for the Japanese like we did during WWII?

Frankly, it is disgusting that anyone could be this racist (we always knew this about Trump), but especially someone who’s family escaped religious and cultural persecution in Russia under the czars - I’m looking at you, Stephen Miller.

I’d say their racist views are un-American, but the history of our country is one of initially excluding “outsiders” of any culture/nationality/religion, and the eventual assimilation of these “outsiders” over generations into the American melting pot.

Combine this with my view that we are still fighting the structural racist attitudes that led to the Civil War and it seems to me it’s the white nationalists who should REVERSE MIGRATE to wherever they feel comfortable with their own kind.
