Does anyone even take Trump’s tariff threats seriously anymore? Let’s see, today is (pause to google) oops, hold on Samsung and Apple get 25% tariffs. It was just Apple this morning.

Harvard isn’t going to be able to admit any international students, for whatever reason, and even though a court has already issued an injunction, you and I both know that the Trumpers will try to weasel around it. (And, as with any mention of universities, we’re told by the Trumpists that Columbia is violating civil rights laws, probably by allowing anyone who thinks that we shouldn’t be killing kids in Gaza to continue attending that school.)

This all is just going to lead to economic stasis (why would anyone plan to do anything based on predicting Trump) and a bunch of time and money wasting lawsuits.

Not to mix movie references, but to quote one of Trump’s favorite real characters, “doesn’t this seem desperately random - like the elaborations of a bad liar?”
