I’m sure you’ve all seen the news that National Security Advisor Michael Waltz invited journalist Jeffrey Goldberg to a Signal chat where an operation against the Houthis in Yemen was discussed, including details of a missile strike. Here’s a gift link to the Post piece on it if you missed it.
Here’s the first Fox response:
I don’t know about you guys, but using a platform where they can expire messages, isn’t subject to federal records requirements, and, most importantly, might easily be compromised by enemies, doesn’t make me feel proud. Also, they come off like a bunch of dumb frat boys, which is what they are:

When, dios mediante, we finally throw these fuckers out of office, it’s going to be the US Embassy in Moscow all over the government. (The tl;dr on that is that the Russians bugged the shit out of a new embassy building going up in Moscow and it took years to get rid of all the bugs.) Every. single. bit of our security and defense apparatus will have to be treated as if it is compromised.
Here are my questions about what’s next:
Will the press give this the drip, drip, drip treatment of a real scandal?
Will Democrats go to the floor daily and demand investigations?
The answers are probably No and No, but we can all live in hope.
