The storied White House East Room has welcomed politicians, foreign dignitaries, war heroes, celebrities and elite athletes, but on Wednesday, it was the setting for an extremely robotic speech introducing first lady Melania Trump.

The speaker was an American-made humanoid robot.

“Thank you, first lady Melania Trump, for inviting me to the White House,” the female voice, which introduced itself as “Figure 3,” said, describing its prime speaking slot at Trump’s summit on AI education and safety for children as an “honor.”

It continued: “I am grateful to be part of this historic movement to empower children with technology and education.”

An audience of first spouses from across the globe and representatives of tech companies stood in silence, appearing stunned by the unexpected special guest and snapping photos. Taking in the scene, they were perhaps relieved it went off without any major technical difficulties.

Jamming cell phones and screens into every US public school classroom was an unmitigated disaster for both American public school students and American public schools, so our ridiculous, morally bankrupt tech billionaires have decided to shove their crap AI into schools to replace teachers.

The public hates AI, they hate the data centers, so our clueless Epstein class fad-followers thought “let’s offload this crap on kids - they’re too stupid to know better!” and Epstein’s former girlfriend was more than happy to play along.

Have Melania and Meta and Google and Amazon not noticed that public schools across the country are now recognizing that selling cheap tech gimmicks to 1st graders really harms 1st graders? That children need an actual connection with a real human being to learn? That the last thing we need is more money-obsessed freaks who chase fads and produce garbage that no one wants like Melania and Zuckerburg and Bezos influencing our children? They’re bad people. If we follow them we’ll produce more bad people.

This is a rip off. Don’t fall for it. None of these fuckers would allow their own children anywhere near this AI crap - their children receive “classical” educations with tiny class sizes and no screens. They offload this crap ONLY to the children of the lower classes.

Here’s Oxbridge Academy, where Barron Trump went to school:

Oxbridge Academy is a private, coeducational, college-preparatory middle and high school in West Palm Beach, Florida, United States. The school, managed by the Oxbridge Academy Foundation, Inc., serves grades 6–12.[4]

The school was funded with a $50 million donation from Bill Koch. Koch's goal was to create a school for his own children where academically gifted students of all socioeconomic backgrounds could do hands-on projects and learn by problem solving, a place where students ruled.Oxbridge was opened in under a year on a 45-acre campus that once held a Jewish community center.By 2016, Koch had donated more than $75 million to the school.

The best public schools in the world are in Finland. Here’s the super secret sauce Finland discovered. They respect teachers. They pay teachers well. They give kids a ton of time outdoors. They have small class sizes. No expensive tech. No robots. No AI. They don’t treat children like a market, they treat children like complex human beings who are worthy of respect and an investment of time.

I’ve been picking my Danish grandaughter up from her public daycare a couple days a week. She loves “school”. When I arrive she is always doing something - playing or pretending to read to drawing or coloring. It’s not a fancy place but it is a warm place. One can tell the children are well cared for and comfortable there.

I, unlike her parents who have to work and feed her and such, have all the time in the world so we make a leisurely exit, where we say goodbye to (literally) everyone. My last pickup it was cold and rainy and windy and we set out to get the bus home. She prefers the bus to the metro because she can see out the bus window. So we sat and waited for the bus but grandma had screwed up so we waited 20 minutes for the #17 bus at the #8A bus stop. She’s a Dane at this point so the cold and rain and wind didn’t bother her, but still, she seemed just fine waiting. She was chatting away, That’s because what children want is not complicated. They want your time. They want to sit and chat with you. That’s how they learn how to be good and ethical and curious and wonderfully human. From other good people.
