This really made me mad:

If you don’t want to read the piece linked from this BlueSky skeet, the reason the author thinks that AOC should apologize is that she said that Biden and Harris were working tirelessly to stop the genocide in Gaza when she spoke at the Democratic convention.

Those of you with a memory will remember that Rep Ocasio-Cortez spoke at the convention where Kamala Harris was taking over over from Joe Biden. It was a precarious time, and AOC was doing her best to use her considerable political power to push Harris over the finish line. In other words, she was being a good soldier.

The Nation is supposedly a “leftist” magazine. Yet, they’re so insecure that they need to publish demands for apologies from actual leftists in the Democratic Party. I think this says a lot more about The Nation than it says about AOC.
