More Death

As I write this on Saturday night, two people are confirmed dead and eight are in critical but stable condition in Providence, Rhode Island after a shooting at Brown University. The shooter is still at large but I assume he (it’s always a he) will be apprehended shortly.

Since the victims were probably white Ivy League students, Trump had to say something, so he asked everyone to pray. Pam Bondi did the same.

What is there to say anymore about events like this? It’s a parent’s worst nightmare, over and over and over again.

There are a lot of points in the past few decades where it was clear that the country is on a completely wrong track. The Iraq Invasion was one, and the response to Sandy Hook was another. Then, Trump. A long, downward slide.
