Let’s start with Kimberly Guilfoyle. In case you’ve been under a rock:

❝

The most serious claim, first reported by the Wall Street Journal on 8 October, centers on the donor Eric Deters.

Citing Signal messages, the paper reported that in July 2025, days before her Senate confirmation hearing, Guilfoyle pressed Deters to pay off a $100,000 American Express bill, assuring him the transfer would not show up anywhere. “Honey please I need you to get this done for me today,” she wrote, according to the report.

Guilfoyle offered to use her influence on his tax and legal problems in return and told him she had contacted the IRS commissioner and the justice department on his behalf.

He has also said he paid Guilfoyle about $300,000 over the years without receiving “one favor”, and told MS Now the request “absolutely was a quid pro quo”.

Eric Deters being a total chump is a nice part of this whole story. Obviously, like most of the other Trumpers, Guilfoyle should be in jail. Deters releasing this story now is a bit of an indicator of Trump losing his juice — Deters might have been scared of retaliation from Trump earlier in the Trump II monarchy, but now he’s able to get some revenge on Guilfoyle.

Gavin Newsom marrying this horrible person shows his terrible judgment and should disqualify him in his inevitable Presidential run. Also, what a weak-ass defense:

Moving on to the new White House spokesliar, Katie Zacharia: she’s not very good at her job. Her performance at her first lie-to-the-press conference showed that she couldn’t read from a script very well. My take on that is, first, so what? If she’s only going to call on Newsmax and the Daily Stormer, and read ever more embarrassing encomiums to Trump, I think she makes it crystal clear that no real information can be imparted in the press room. This would, perhaps, lead to an end to the fucking charade that has been going on in the White House Press Room since the start of the second reign of Trump.

Instead, Zacharia is probably going to be forced to quit for the equivalent of telling a lie on her resume. She claims to be an attorney. She did pass law school, but she didn’t take the bar. Instead, she claimed to practice law in China. Well, she couldn’t have passed the bar in China, as Josh Marshall reports here. Talk about getting tossed out on a technicality.

I guess the only thing that’s actually funny about this is that Marco Rubio’s dumb speech about Western Civilization that he gave in Greece was totally overshadowed by Guilfoyle’s grift. Here’s Jamelle Bouie’s take on that dumb speech, if you’re interested.
