If telling blatant, bald-faced lies to Congress isn’t grounds for impeachment, tell me what is:

Newly obtained documents indicate that the US health secretary, Robert F Kennedy Jr, lied during two congressional hearings last year, when he told lawmakers who held the key to his confirmation that a 2019 visit to Samoa had “nothing to do with vaccines”.

Letters obtained by the Guardian and the Associated Press contradict that testimony. In one he wrote to the Samoan prime minister before the trip, Kennedy explicitly said he wanted to study the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine in the Pacific island nation. In it, he used the words “vaccine” or “vaccination” eight times.

The Guardian

That’s just the start. Cancelling research on the most promising anti-cancer drugs of our generation, research that is just starting to bear fruit, is also a high crime, and RFK did it without Congressional approval. So is cutting FDA budget, though I’m not sure how much of that was him and how much was the Big Ugly Bill. No matter, that can be discussed at his extensive, exhausting impeachment hearings.

By the time these hearings happen, sadly, there will be more kids dead from measles:

This disgusting piece of shit “doctor” is, of course, waiting around to find the “pre-existing conditions” that the two children who died of measles had. In the MAHA neo-Nazi ideology, it’s important to root around in corpses’ histories to manufacture a reason why they’re responsible for their own deaths. Kids are not immune from this twisted form of necrophilia.

Those of us with functioning brains know that the reason these kids died was that their stupid parents believed the stupid lies told them by RFK Jr and his cohort. Therefore, their children didn’t get the benefit of one of the greatest discoveries of modern medicine, vaccination. I’m guessing the kids’ parents might possibly have regrets. Obviously, Jr and these MAHA idiots don’t.

And so what if we “don’t have the votes to convict” Jr after his impeachment? Not a single piece of legislation passed by the Democratic House and (dios mediante) the Democratic Senate will be signed by Trump, except appropriations bills. So most of the time of the House and Senate will be occupied setting up Democrats for a win in 2028. Putting RFK Jr front-and-center is a great way to do that. Republicans confirmed him, and Republicans defend him. People don’t want their kids to die from preventable childhood diseases, and they don’t want to shit their guts out every few weeks from preventable food-borne illness. Plus, big pharma hates the guy. The politics of this are so god damned simple that even Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer should be able to understand them.
