Happy Birthday to… us!

It hasn’t been easy, and it certainly hasn’t been a “perfect union”. But on balance, the USA has - since its founding - been the ideal that all others have aspired to emulate.

Let’s take one day to celebrate with family, friends, and neighbors before we jump back into the fray to save the idea that we call the USA: that all people “are created equal” and we all deserve “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”.
