Hands Off

Attended a Hands Off protest today in rural NW Ohio. Very good turnout for a Trump 75% county - about 120 anti Trumpers and 10 or so pro Trumpers. We outnumbered them by a lot. The gentleman you see in the foreground of my (terrible) photo is a veteran and brought snacks for everyone - nice man.

We started out as you see here, lining the highway, but when the Trumpers arrived we decided to run it like a picket and walk in a clockwise loop on the sidewalk in front of them, so that was fun. Our orders were not to respond if they taunted us but I couldn’t manage that so waved cheerily as I sashayed by, over and over again. Nothing gets them madder than us having fun.
