Disqualifying

This should be, and is, disqualifying:

This should be, and is, disqualifying:
This should be, and is, disqualifying
This was done at Trump’s behest and is clearly illegal. BTW, note the classic media hedging language in the sub-headline. “…could face legal hurdles” then correctly pointing out that renaming it without an act of congress is… illegal. Um, why not say this is blatantly against the law and leave it at that?
Finally, while it looks like the Brown/MIT shootings have been solved (they found the killer dead in New Hampshire), I want to touch on this back and forth between a reporter and the President of Brown University:
NBC 10 WJAR’s Dan Jaehnig took concern with Brown President Christina Paxson’s insistence she did not know what was going on in the classroom where the shooting took place during a Saturday night press conference.
“President, with all due respect, six hours after the shooting and you said you don’t know what was going on in that classroom? How does that happen?” Jaehnig asked Paxson during the press conference which included Democratic Providence Mayor Brett Smiley, Democratic Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee, and Providence police deputy chief Cmdr. Timothy O’Hara. (RELATED: Suspect In Brown University Shooting In Custody)
“Were they taking an exam? Were they meeting for a club?” the reporter pressed.
“I don’t know. I don’t know,” Paxson replied.
“Six hours later — and you’re the president — and you don’t know?” Jaehnig followed up.
“I do not know,” the Brown president repeated.
“Well, that’s kind of concerning,” the reporter said.
Shortly before Jaehnig’s question, another reporter had asked Paxson if she could confirm several of the shooting’s victims were members of Brown’s women’s lacrosse team.
“I could not confirm that,” the school’s president replied.
The media didn’t seem to have a problem calling President Paxson out and asking her tough questions. Why can’t the media do the same with Trump, His sycophantic appointees and Mike Johnson? At some point, where is the recognition from our media that this is not ok, it’s not normal behavior, it is just not acceptable for the President of the United States to be doing this? And where is the constant barrage from Dem electeds hitting this angle hard?
