It’s hard not to see this in the context of the video of Trump shitting on America, and seeing it as yet another example:

Trump apparently had “promised” to just add on to the White House, not to demolish part of it. And of course there are a million rules about how this should have been done, but here were are.

Anyway, I think this will upset people. It’s an ugly picture of an ugly process that will yield an ugly result.

As a side note, the Washington Post apparently reported this first and called it a “scoop”. I mean, people in the media, this is simply something happening out in the open and just because you saw it first doesn’t make it a “scoop”. Jesus.

The following has more-or-less nothing to do with the White House being destroyed, but after watching the New York City Mayoral Debate, I found Curtis Sliwa a weird combination of reactionary yet knowledgable. Plus he hates the right people. Here’s his response to Bill Ackman’s call for him to drop out of the race:

It’s a good answer, and he’s a decent politician. I don’t agree with most of what he believes in, but simple declarative sentences and a message you believe in goes a long way.
