A New Tranche of Dred Scott Style Bullshit

The Supremes have a bunch of rulings coming out today since they basically take Summer off so most of them can collect bribes at rich guy fishing resorts. Let’s see what they’ve announced so far:

1. Another chip off of Obamacare — RFK Jr can hire and fire members of the “US Preventive Services Task Force, [which] is a panel of 16 volunteer health experts who determine which evidence-based preventive health services private insurance companies must cover without cost for patients.”

2. Parents can keep their kids from listening to books that acknowledge the existence of gay people, another step in erasing them from society.

3. Some sand in the gears of birthright citizenship in the guise of limiting nationwide injunctions. Some nutty buddy federal judge in Lubbock handed those out like candy when Biden was in power, but all of a sudden they’re a bad thing when they impede Trump.

I’m sure there will be more.

One of the many things that are going to have to change about the center-left establishment is the veneration of the courts. Much of the federal judiciary is irredeemably corrupt, from the top down.

AMLO and Claudia Sheinbaum’s party in Mexico is Movimiento de Regeneración Nacional, the National Regeneration Movement (abbreviated as Morena). They just, in essence, fired every fucking judge in the country and made them run for election. Is that the solution here? Who knows, but the solution sure isn’t blue slips, stolen Supreme Court seats and rules that only apply to Democrats. Regeneration is what we’re going to need.
